Billing & Payments

Subscription Cycles

Paid plans are available as:

  • Monthly subscriptions.
  • Annual subscriptions (discounted).

Regardless of billing frequency:

  • Survey simulation quotas reset monthly.
  • Add-ons follow the same billing cycle as the plan.

Annual billing reduces cost but does not change monthly simulation allocation.

Upgrades

You may upgrade your plan at any time.

When upgrading:

  • The upgrade becomes active immediately.
  • Charges are prorated based on the remaining time in your current billing cycle.
  • You are only charged the difference between what you have already paid and the new plan cost for the remaining period.

If your saved payment method can be charged automatically, the upgrade completes instantly.

If additional authentication is required, you may be redirected to Stripe to complete the payment securely.

Downgrades

You may downgrade your plan at any time.

Downgrades:

  • Take effect at the end of your current billing period.
  • Do not generate refunds for the active billing cycle.
  • Automatically adjust features when the new period begins.

If downgrading to a plan that does not support certain features (such as Extra Survey Packs), you may lose access to those features.

In cases where feature loss applies, a confirmation modal clearly explains the consequences before you proceed.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time.

When you cancel:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
  • No further charges will be applied after that date.
  • Your account automatically downgrades to the Free plan at the end of the period.

Cancellation does not provide refunds for the current billing cycle unless otherwise specified in the Refund Policy.

Add-on Billing

Add-ons:

  • Activate immediately upon purchase.
  • Are prorated for the remaining time in your billing cycle.
  • Renew automatically with your subscription unless canceled.

When canceled, add-ons remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.

Extra Survey Pack Billing

Extra Survey Packs:

  • Are one-time purchases.
  • Are charged immediately at purchase.
  • Do not renew automatically.

Packs are not prorated and do not expire while your plan remains eligible.

Downgrading to an ineligible plan permanently removes unused pack simulations.

Payment Method & Billing History

You can manage payment details through the secure Stripe Billing Portal.

From the Subscription page, you can:

  • Update your payment method.
  • View billing history.
  • Download invoices.

All payment information is handled directly by Stripe.

The platform does not store raw card details.

Payment Processing

When confirming a purchase:

  • The system attempts to charge your saved payment method.
  • If successful, activation occurs immediately.
  • If additional authentication is required, you may be redirected to Stripe.

During processing, a confirmation window will indicate payment status.

In most cases, no external redirect is required.

Payment Failures

If a payment fails:

  • Stripe may retry the charge automatically.
  • Access to paid features may be restricted if payment is not resolved.

You will be notified through the billing system if action is required.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want you to feel confident trying the platform, while also ensuring fair use of our service.

In General

  • Refunds depend on how much time has passed and how much of the plan has been used.
  • If a large portion of the monthly survey quota has already been consumed, the period is considered used and may not be refundable.
  • Payment processing fees (e.g. Stripe fees) are non-refundable.
  • Add-ons follow the same refund logic as the plan they are attached to.

Monthly Plans

  • If you're on your first paid month, you may request a refund within a limited time window, as long as you haven't used most of your surveys.
  • Refunds, when applicable, are prorated based on days used.
  • Upgrades can be refunded within a short window if usage stays below the allowed limit.
  • If a refund doesn't apply, you can always schedule a downgrade or cancellation for the next billing date.

Annual Plans

  • Annual plans are eligible for refunds only within the first 30 days.
  • If approved, refunds cover the unused months.
  • The current month may be charged in full if most of its survey quota was already used.
  • Upgrades are refunded based on the price difference between plans.

Important Note

Our service incurs real costs as surveys are generated. For this reason, refunds are designed to be fair for genuine trials, while preventing misuse.

Transparency

All charges are displayed clearly before confirmation, including:

  • Plan cost.
  • Add-on cost.
  • Billing frequency.
  • Immediate charge amount (if prorated).

No hidden fees are applied.
